Jessie Broster, BC Snowboard Grom Coordinator, has a great line up for Grom Series Jam activities for young snowboarders!
The Volvo Grom Series Jam is a grassroots event for young snowboarders 7-12. It combines the basics of our sport with fun competition, getting participants pumped on the snowboard community and opening them up to all the possibilities boarding can offer. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in an afternoon park jam after a morning of freeriding coached by BC Snowboard certified coaches.
Program Goals: have fun/ build confidence/ progress/ make friends/ meet coaches
Note skill requirements:
*the participant can load and unload the chairlift unassisted
*the participant can link heelside and toeside turns
If you do not have a current 24-25 athlete membership and this is your first event, you can purchase the “Limited Event Membership” for this activity.
