JumpStart Grant
The Jumpstart Individual Child Grant Program helps children ages 4–18 from low-income families participate in sports and physical activity programs. Families may receive up to $300 per child per year toward registration and equipment costs.
Programs must meet minimum activity requirements, and applications should be submitted before the program begins. Funding is paid directly to the organization. Eligibility is based on household income guidelines and supporting documentation is required.
KidSport BC Grant
KidSport BC helps remove financial barriers to sport by providing grants of up to $400 per child per year to help cover registration fees for eligible sport programs. Children 18 and younger could be eligible.
If you work with families who may need financial assistance, encourage them to explore this funding opportunity. Applications are accepted throughout the year and should be submitted before the sport program begins. Learn more and apply through the KidSport BC Provincial Fund. Please share this opportunity with families in your program who may benefit from financial support
