What does BC Snowboard do?
We support our members and clubs, develop programs, host events and operate Provincial Teams.
Supporting our members
By holding a current membership with BC Snowboard, you become eligible for services and to participate in our Programs.
Whether you are an athlete looking to join a club and compete, a coach wanting to grow and share their knowledge, or a parent wanting to get involved as an event official, we’re here to guide you along your pathway.
Supporting our clubs
We work closely with our clubs to ensure that they continue to grow, have strong management practices and create positive environments for their members.
Developing and implementing athlete programs
We work with our local and national partners to develop snowboard programs from the grassroots to elite level. These programs include RIDERS, Women’s snowboard, Para-snowboard, First Nations snowboard, as well as coaches, judges and officials development.

- RIDERS events (grassroot level)
- Regional / local level events (open age categories)
- Provincial Series events (FIS/TTR and open age categories)
- Snowboard Cross
- Provincial Championships (accumulated points from Provincial Series)
- NorAm level events (FIS)
- National Championships
